Recite. It listens.It talks back.

A live voice teacher. It speaks first, listens while you recite, and tells you where a missed sound is made.

Talk to the teacher

Guidance on one side. Your light on the other.

The crescent

Guidance & protection

The teacher. It speaks first, gives one correction at a time, and waits as long as you need. Nothing you recite ever turns red.

The star

Light, direction & hope

You. Begin with the names of the letters if that is where you are, and move on only when the sound is yours.

How it works

Most tools tell you that you were wrong. Iqra tells you how to fix it.

  1. It listens

You recite out loud. Iqra follows the words you are actually saying, sound by sound, not just whether you finished the verse.

  2. It tells you what went wrong

Which letter, where in the mouth or throat it belongs, and how it differed from what you produced.

  3. It shows you, and you try again

You hear it recited correctly, then say it back. The lesson moves on when you have it, and waits as long as you need.

ٱلۡحَمۡدُلِلَّهِرَبِّٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ

Al-Fātiḥah 1:2

  1. Iqra: Assalamu alaykum. Let’s begin with al-Fātiḥah. Recite the second ayah for me, and I’ll listen.
  2. You recite Al-Fātiḥah 1:2. The last word needs work.
  3. Iqra: Your ع sounded closer to أ. It is made in the middle of the throat, not at the deepest point. Listen once, then try it again.
  4. A reciter’s recording plays: the ayah, said correctly.
  5. You say the last word again, and it is right.
  6. Iqra: That’s it, the ع came from the right place. Now the whole ayah, from the beginning.

A teacher, with a curriculum

You can start without reading a word of Arabic

The first module is naming the 29 letters on sight. Nothing before it is assumed. 5 of the 10 modules are Noorani Qaida, so the ground under a complete beginner is real.

Module 1 · Naming the letters2 of 29
  • اAlif
  • بBaa
  • تTaa
  • ثThaa

Say the name of this letter out loud.

Corrections tell you where the sound is made

A letter is wrong for a reason: the wrong part of the throat, the tongue an inch off, an elongation cut short. Iqra names the reason, plays the target, then hands the turn back to you.

What it heard
أ
What it should be
ع

It is made in the middle of the throat, not at the deepest point. Listen once, then try it again.

You move on when you have it, not when time is up

Progression is gated on producing the sound correctly. Anything unsettled returns on a spaced schedule. There is no ranking, no league, and nothing you lose by taking a week off.

Your voice runs the lesson

You recite; the lesson responds. No tapping through a form mid-recitation. The screen keeps the script, the tashkeel and the articulation cues in front of you.
